BCult is a huge cult movie database collecting on the web all the films stored in the DBCult Film Institute. This foundation aims at preserving and storing cult films, in addition to publications and press material all concerning this topic. The Film Institute also stocks a wide archive of vinyl records and CDs: more than six thousand cult movie soundtracks. Over 62.000 movies are stocked by BCult, coming from private collectors from all around the world and other foundations: collected by true cult movie enthusiasts and professionals working with passion to realize the amazing archive and the website, growing every day more thanks to the activity of the foundation and the attention of a large public of cult films lovers and followers. Look through the database to find the movie you are looking for with a review, a photo gallery, production details – you can post a comment and rate the cult film too. You can either search the archive through the film genre or explore and stop when something inspires you. BCult project does not end here: two other database are available on the website. One stores publications, such as comics, books, magazines, photo novels and fanzines, all concerning cult and b-movies coming from Italy, Europe and the whole world: a huge, rare collection for true enthusiasts. The other one stocks printed media – articles, dossiers and interviews about cult films, actors and filmmakers. Please note that BCult website has moved to a new domain: www.dbcult.com . This operation was necessary in order to satisfy our users’ needs and to provide us with better tools to organize and store our database that keeps on growing.
